Across TCGA cell cohorts, ZSCAN21 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,913 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZSCAN21-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi vesicle-mediated transport, Positive regulation of gene expression, epigenetic, and Pre-mRNA catabolic process. Each is linked with ZSCAN21 in more than 11 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZSCAN21-to-partner and partner-to-ZSCAN21 results are reported.
