Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF853 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF853 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher ZNF853 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF853 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
MESO, LAML, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZNF853 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
