Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF829 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF829 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher ZNF829 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF829 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, BRCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where ZNF829 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
