Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF821 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF821 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ZNF821 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF821 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where ZNF821 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
