Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF806 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF806 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ZNF806 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF806 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and HNSC are the cancer types where ZNF806 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
