Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF806 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF806 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZNF806 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF806 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
COAD, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where ZNF806 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
