Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF787 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF787 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZNF787 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF787 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ZNF787 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
