Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF785 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF785 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ZNF785 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF785 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and THYM show a favorable association.

LIHC, HNSC, and THYM are the cancer types where ZNF785 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
