Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF767P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ZNF767P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where ZNF767P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ZNF767P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, COAD, and CHOL are the cancer types where ZNF767P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
