Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF740 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF740 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZNF740 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF740 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where ZNF740 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
