Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF729 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF729 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ZNF729 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF729 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and OV are the cancer types where ZNF729 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
