Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF71 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF71 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ZNF71 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF71 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
BRCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZNF71 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
