Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF705B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ZNF705B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where ZNF705B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ZNF705B is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC are the cancer types where ZNF705B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
