Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF7 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZNF7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, BLCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where ZNF7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
