Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF7 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher ZNF7 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.

GBM, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZNF7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
