Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF681 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF681 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ZNF681 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF681 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UVM show a favorable association.
KIRC, UVM, and KICH are the cancer types where ZNF681 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
