Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF579 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF579 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher ZNF579 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF579 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and STAD are the cancer types where ZNF579 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
