Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF572 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF572 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher ZNF572 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF572 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
SCLC, PRAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where ZNF572 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
