Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF524 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF524 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ZNF524 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF524 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM and LUAD are the cancer types where ZNF524 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
