Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF516 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF516 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ZNF516 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF516 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZNF516 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
