Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF497 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF497 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ZNF497 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF497 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where ZNF497 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
