Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF493 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF493 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZNF493 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF493 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, STAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where ZNF493 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
