Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF492 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF492 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZNF492 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF492 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UCEC, DLBC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ZNF492 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
