Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF48 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF48 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher ZNF48 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF48 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, LUAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where ZNF48 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
