Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF431 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF431 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ZNF431 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF431 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and SCLC show a favorable association.

UVM, KIRC, and LAML are the cancer types where ZNF431 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
