Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF428 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF428 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ZNF428 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF428 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where ZNF428 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
