Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF347 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ZNF347’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where ZNF347 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ZNF347 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, COAD, and KICH are the cancer types where ZNF347 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
