Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF318 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF318 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher ZNF318 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF318 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, KICH, and SKCM are the cancer types where ZNF318 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
