Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF29P RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF29P data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ZNF29P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF29P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and THYM show a favorable association.
CESC, CHOL, and COAD are the cancer types where ZNF29P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
