Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF286A RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF286A data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ZNF286A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF286A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and PAAD show a favorable association.
LIHC, KICH, and ACC are the cancer types where ZNF286A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
