Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF235 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF235 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZNF235 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF235 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and LGG are the cancer types where ZNF235 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
