Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF235 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF235 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZNF235 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF235 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

COAD, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where ZNF235 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
