Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF217 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF217 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZNF217 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF217 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, TGCT, and LUSC are the cancer types where ZNF217 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
