Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF174 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF174 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ZNF174 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF174 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SKCM are the cancer types where ZNF174 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
