Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF117 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF117 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ZNF117 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF117 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where ZNF117 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
