Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZMPSTE24 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZMPSTE24 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZMPSTE24 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZMPSTE24 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, ACC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ZMPSTE24 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
