Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZMIZ1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZMIZ1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher ZMIZ1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZMIZ1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM and SKCM are the cancer types where ZMIZ1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
