Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZKSCAN8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZKSCAN8 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZKSCAN8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZKSCAN8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, BRCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZKSCAN8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
