Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZKSCAN3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZKSCAN3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ZKSCAN3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZKSCAN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and ACC are the cancer types where ZKSCAN3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
