Across TCGA cell cohorts, ZIC1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,898 significant associations in total. OVARY shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZIC1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Transcription initiation at RNA polymerase II promoter, Monoatomic anion transmembrane transport, and DNA-templated transcription initiation. Each is linked with ZIC1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZIC1-to-partner and partner-to-ZIC1 results are reported.
