Across TCGA patient cohorts, ZFY protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 115 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZFY-associated genes across cancer lineages are SGSM3, ATP6V1D, and STS. Each is linked with ZFY in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZFY-to-partner and partner-to-ZFY results are reported.
