Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZFP42 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZFP42 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZFP42 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZFP42 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where ZFP42 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
