Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZFP36 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZFP36 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher ZFP36 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZFP36 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and SCLC show a favorable association.

OV, ACC, and LGG are the cancer types where ZFP36 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
