Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC9 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZDHHC9 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where ZDHHC9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
