Across TCGA patient cohorts, ZDHHC8 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 63 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZDHHC8-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-E2, ETS-1, and GATA6. Each is linked with ZDHHC8 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZDHHC8-to-partner and partner-to-ZDHHC8 results are reported.
