Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher ZDHHC3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZDHHC3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
