Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC24 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZDHHC24 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ZDHHC24 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC24 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

STAD, UVM, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZDHHC24 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
