Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher ZDHHC2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SCLC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZDHHC2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
