Across TCGA patient cohorts, ZDHHC2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 22 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZDHHC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are Bax, Caspase-8, and IGFBP2. Each is linked with ZDHHC2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZDHHC2-to-partner and partner-to-ZDHHC2 results are reported.
