Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC18 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher ZDHHC18 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, LIHC, and ESCA are the cancer types where ZDHHC18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
